IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE BOARD OF THE FGCL 

 As it is public knowledge, the world is suffering an outbreak of a potentially fatal respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus (COVID-19). The outbreak first started in Wuhan, China, but cases have been identified in a growing number of other locations internationally. In the United States, Florida has been attacked and cases have been identified in South Florida. Our state is aggressively responding to the outbreak of COVID-19 in order to prevent the spread of the disease. Following the recommendations from the CDC and the Health Department, we at Florida Gold Coast League (FGCL) have decided to be proactive and cancel the games scheduled for this weekend to avoid personal contact and potential transmission of the virus. We will resume operations as soon as the public health organizations consider that it is safe to do so. Please be protected and follow all recommendations given by the CDC such as frequent hand-washing with soap and water, disinfecting with alcohol gel products and consult with a physician if you develop flu-like symptoms.
