A new GOLCO round was played
The third round of the first leg of the GOLCO regular season
2017/2018 was played November 19, 2017 at Cypress Park in Coral Springs. The first game of the
day at 11 AM featured Lauderdale SC vs. School of Soccer. The “homeless” from Lauderdale Soccer Club worked very
hard to get a 3 to 1 victory with goals scored by Alvaro Campuzano (1) and
Darwin Espinal (2) after School of Soccer opened the account early in the first
half (goal scored by Eddie Reyna).
At 1 PM, Boca Raton FC confronted Elite SA Inter. It was a very
intense game, between two excellent teams. The young Elite SA Inter team brilliantly coached
by Romualdo Sagnotti won the match by a score of 3 to 1. The goals were scored
by Santiago Caballero (1) and Rivaldo
Gillen (2) for the Elite SA Inter and Fabricio Astudillo for Boca Raton FC.
The last game at 3 PM confronted last season GOLCO champs,
PB Spartans vs newcomer Himmarshee FC (finally the GOLCO editor got the name of the Ft Lauderdale team right, we hope). It was a close game. Finally, the champs, and still undefeated team, were able to win the match by a score of 2-1. The goals for Spartans
were scored by Dieunado Stevis (2) and for Himmarshee FC by Michel Carl Rony (1)
No games next week to allow for Thanksgiving celebrations (and for GOLCO editor's grandson Nico 7 birthday)
