COACHING SOFTWARE

PREPARE FOR THE MOMENT WE CAN GO BACK TO THE FIELD AGAIN

We are all looking forward to the day soccer practices will resume.

It is still not certain when it will happen but we need to be prepared. The time to get organized and ready is now, so when the health conditions permit, we can jump and start again with our training session.

Coaches must review their practice sessions now that they have the time to do it. I am updating my favorite sessions as we speak. For that, I use the help of an electronic program. My favorite program is called TACTICS MANAGER from SOCCER TUTOR that is coaching software that enables you to create your practices, tactics and plan sessions. There are other programs in the market but I use TACTICS MANGER since it is inexpensive, very easy to learn and use and the support from the company is excellent.
If you are interested in exploring the possibility of using such a program go to LINKS and find the TACTICS MANAGER icon to contact them.

Please take care, be patient and we will see each other in the fields very soon!

2019 FALL SEASON

FLORIDA GOLD COAST LEAGUE (FGCL) is planning the Fall 2019 season.

The new season will start on  September 8^th, 2019.
The format is as follows:
1.    Nine game robin round
2.    Play-offs (all teams registered will participate in the playoffs). Single elimination phase to determine the Season Champ
3.    League Cup
4.    The season winner will play the Cup winner to determine the League Champion

FGCL is keeping the cost of participation at a minimum to help the participating teams/clubs
We already recruited several new, strong and well-organized and administered clubs to participate in the next season. Some of those teams will represent FGCL in USSF Open Cup and in the FSSA State Cup.

FGCL PLAYING STRONG !!!!

THE FLORIDA GOLD COAST LEAGUE 2018/2019 WINTER SEASON GETTING CLOSE TO THE PLAY OFFS

The FGCL is approaching the end of the robin round portion of the 2018/2019 winter season and planning the new 2019 premier season. In April we will have the play offs followed by participation in FSSA State Cup and friendly international games. Then we will start the new season. Yesterday March 3, 2019 two matches were played. At 4 PM in west Boca South County Regional Park, the home team, powerful Boca Raton FC confronted LSC, a team that is recovering from the unfortunate missing of their goalkeepers (they suffered serious injuries and one of them had repair surgery for a rupture Achilles tendon). The game was intense and ended with a 3-3 draw. The other game was played at the cozy Aiello field in Coral Springs. PB Spartans confronted Himmarshee FC. Despite their great performance and due to the fact that they played short after a send off, Himmmarshee FC could not avoid losing 0-3 to powerful PB Spartans.

PROJECT TO REVITALIZE LOCKHART STADIUM AND VICINITY

A group of concern citizens including Tim Robbie, Eddy Rodger from Kick International as well as Derek Reese from Himmarshee FC are proposing ideas to rebuild the Lockhart Stadium and creat a sports park with multiple soccer fields in the vicinity. This is a brilliant idea that we all share and hope will materialize one way or the other for the good of soccer in South Florida.
