Saturday October 20th was the date when the two Boca Raton teams confronted each other. What a fabulous match!!! Two excellent teams gave a great soccer spectacle. Numerous spectators and recruiters went to watch the game. Very even game, but Boca Raton FC prevailed and won the contest by a score of 2-0 but everybody was impressed with the quality and skills of the young players from SFE Boca Predators.
On Sunday October 21th two matches were played. The first one confronted the leader Little Haiti FC vs Lauderhill Jr, a team that played last season in CASA and is now back in our league. The Miami team won the contest by a score of 4-1. The last match of the day was between PB Spartans and Himmarshee FC. Even and close match. Himmarshee was leading the match until the very end of it, but PB Spartans won the game with two late goals. The final result was PB Spartans 2 vs Himmarshee FC 1. LSC had a day off due to its participation in the South Florida Champions League. Also, undefeated FUTSOC was resting this weekend, ready to be back in a week.
The FGCL wants to congratulate the USSF Women's National team for winning the 2018 CONCACAF competition on their way to next year FIFA Women World Cup !!!!!
