Gold Coast League Launches Rebranding Initiative

The Gold Coast Soccer Premier League is now the Florida Gold Coast League!

South Florida's longest-running adult men's amateur soccer league has launched an all-new image ahead of it's 2018/19 league season.

The new league crest features a dynamic soccer ball in motion - as if spinning in the winds of a hurricane, alongside new colors that reflect the sun, sand, and turquoise waters that Florida's Gold Coast is known for. Three stars at the bottom of the crest represent the three counties and diverse communities of South Florida - Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.

The league partnered with local graphic artist Derek Reese on the rebranding effort. "I was happy to lend my expertise and help the Gold Coast League improve it's branding and image" said Derek, also president of supporter-owned club and FGCL member Himmarshee FC. "Without the Gold Coast League, we simply could not have gotten HFC out on the field, and I believe having a locally-based, incredibly affordable league is invaluable to the South Florida soccer community."

The Florida Gold Coast League will continue it's mission to offer competitive soccer for teams, players and fans in the South Florida region at an easily accessible cost when the 2018/19 league season begins this autumn.

Dr. Jose Meeroff, league commissioner, explains, “We exist to provide this beautiful game an opportunity to grow and expand and for local teams to compete and not have to worry about finances. We have a full-year calendar that allows our teams to take advantage of the great weather in our area and develop soccer talent right here at home.”

League scheduling will be finalized and announced at a later date. Teams interested in joining the league can REGISTER NOW right here on the FGCL website.
